Websites and applications built for your business

I'm John Andersen, the developer behind Webstudiet. I build websites and applications for smaller businesses in Thailand, and improve the systems they already use. From a new company website to a booking flow that needs fixing, you work directly with me.

Experience behind the work

Building a booking platform over 21 years

For Thailand-villas.com, I built and maintained the PHP booking engine, destination websites, and property content structure. On klik.villas, I developed a system that brought reservations, accounting, maintenance, and booking-channel integrations together, replacing administration spread across spreadsheets.

On both projects, I was responsible for the technical development, working with Marc Ribail, who brought hotel and villa rental experience. My involvement ended when the businesses were sold in 2022.

Working on the same systems for years taught me to think about the next change as well as the first release. Someone has to update the content, handle a booking, and keep the business running while the software changes. Read how I got started and what shaped my work.

Services

What do you need to build or improve?

I help local service companies, villa and tour operators, expat-owned businesses, and international projects with a Thailand connection. The work can be a small fix, a new feature, or a complete website.

  • A new website or application. Company websites, booking features, and custom tools for daily work. I work with WordPress, PHP, Laravel, and Astro, choosing the technology to fit the task.
  • Help with an existing system. Fixing faults, adding features, and maintaining the website you already run. That might be a broken form, an awkward content editor, or a PHP application that needs updating.
  • Systems that work together. APIs and integrations that move enquiries, bookings, and other information between your website and the tools your business uses.
  • Speed and technical SEO. Investigating slow pages and fixing technical problems that affect search engines. You can make a first check with my URL Analyzer.

Quality content and good technical foundation are both critical — you need both to succeed.
